Organizing KOMPONENT

LAB:

LAB is an art and culture society, whose main aim is to support innovative, progressive currents in the Copenhagen, Danish and European art and music world.

Lab has arranged various concerts, performances and techno raves. It organised and designed the Chill Out tent at the Roskilde festival in 1995, 1997 and 1998.

In 1996 LAB organised the very ambitious project LABYRINTH. This was a 10-day art/music festival, held in Torpedohallen on Holmen, with 150 artists from all over Europe. The project, which was the largest of its kind, was held during the Culture City ’96 and was a collaboration with many different institutions, companies and organisations.

LAB is situated on Vesterbro in Copenhagen, and consists of various more or less independent cooporated workshops.
